Product labeling that balances regulatory requirements, brand identity, and shelf appeal for cannabis, CBD, and consumer products.
In the cannabis industry, labeling is where design meets regulation. Every label has to satisfy OLCC compliance — mandatory warnings, THC/CBD content, batch numbers, testing data — while still communicating the brand and catching a customer’s eye. I’ve designed labeling systems that handle this tension without compromise, keeping the brand front and center while meeting every regulatory requirement.
Cannabis Product Labels
My Role: Designed product labels across multiple product categories including concentrates, cartridges, flower, and edibles. Built flexible label templates with designated zones for variable data (strain names, batch info, test results) and fixed brand elements, enabling rapid production turnaround for new SKUs.
